For commercial hopyards, we recommand our organic rhizomes for cost reasons. Rhizomes are the natural way hops multiply in the nature. The technic is harder than planting hops in a pot, but you will need to master it for your further expansion phases.
Each rhizome is inspected to make sure they have enough buds and roots to grow. When we cut them in the field, they often begin to look like small plants.
Performance varies from site to site. In a production perspective, we recommand to start with many different cultivars in small quantities, to see what works well in your field. You could have good surprises!
They are shipped in May, when the big frosts are over and the soil is warm enough to plant.
Delivery is available for all Canada.
